St. Thekla’s Women’s Group
The St. Thekla’s Women’s Group of All Saints Orthodox Church is a chapter of the Southeastern region of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Women of North America (AOCWNA). It was founded in 1973 through the vision of his Eminence, Metropolitan Philip. Our purpose is to foster Christian leadership and awareness, love and service through works of charity and to ill instill fellowship among women throughout the Antiochian Archdiocese and the Community.
All women who attend All Saints church are automatically members of St. Thekla’s. We meet approximately every six weeks to coordinate our efforts in the areas of promoting spiritual activities and humanitarian efforts, as well as organizing fundraising for these projects.
Some of our latest projects include Baklawa making sales and distribution, as well as quilting infant blankets for a Romanian orphanage. We also regularly organize meals for the infirm, cards for shut-in’s and holy bread for services, just to name a few.
We welcome all ladies of All Saints as well as any interested visitors to join us any time we meet for “fun, food and fellowship in Christ”. Please feel free to contact Father Nicholas for a schedule of meetings and up coming events.
