![]() Brother and sister in Christ! Please allow me to introduce myself. I’m Martha Rowell from St. Barnabas Orthodox Church in Lexington, SC. I am the coordinator for the 2008 Parish Life Conference Creative Arts Festival being held in Raleigh, NC, June 18 - 22. This year’s theme is: At the beginning He made them male and female. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh.” Mathew 19:5 The Creative Arts Festival is open to all communicants of the parish or mission of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America from Pre-School through High School graduates – ages 22. The Creative Arts Festival categories are Arts, Writing, Poetry and Photography. All entries must be original works of art. Since the emphasis is on creativity, copying, tracing, pattern marking or dittos are not acceptable. Please refer to the materials below for the complete rules for each category. All participants will receive a certificate of participation and the first, second and third place winners will receive ribbons. The awards will be given out on Saturday June 21 after the Oratorical competition is completed. The deadline for all entries is May 15, 2008. All entries should be mailed to:
