We Have the Certificate of Occupancy for Our New Temple. Glory be to God for all things!!!!
Due to the difficulty we are having getting into our new temple, the parish council has postponed the Annual Meeting from November 14 to December 12 following the Divine Liturgy. Please make note of this change. The Annual Report should be mailed to you within two weeks.
Our contractor is still working on the details of our Certificate of Occupancy for the new temple. The exact date for our first service is not yet available. We will keep you informed as soon as the date is firmly set. As of this moment, the soonest date that might be possible is November 7th. We are fairly confident that this will be the date of our first Divine Liturgy in the new temple.
Until we get into our new building, Fr. Nicholas will be working out of his home. The church telephone number will give announcements and take messages but will not connect to a live person. If you need to contact Fr. Nicholas please leave a message on the church phone and he will get back to you as soon as possible. During this time, worship services will continue as scheduled; however, appointments with Fr. Nicholas will be limited.
A list of the items that we will eventually need for our new temple but that are not currently funded by our budget is available on the Narthex table or by request. Please contact Fr. Nicholas if you would like to receive a copy by email or by regular mail.
Occasionally we post the published homilies that have been delivered at All Saints. They can be read online or downloaded to your computer to be printed. You can access these homilies through the link entitled “Homilies” on the right hand side of our home page. The most recent homilies, Hearing and Keeping, Light that Shines, and Unforgiven! are now available.
This year All Saints Sunday will fall on May 30th. We are planning a very special day: of course, we will enjoy our annual, feast day, North Carolina, barbeque and in addition our first open house for the new building. Adults in our parish will have the chance to walk through the education and temple areas and view the progress so far. Please put this date on your calendar and make this a priority to celebrate with us.
